a slight typo in last stanza, but i like this one. you got it right in the title. hee-hee. :) bri we should be compassionate every day of the year, not just on Christmas! I have music to play To get me in the mood Such a selection Of mouth watering food............if i weren't married, i'd invite myself over to join you! ! bri :)

Christmas...... Peace on earth, goodwill to all men.......... the ideal. Christmas.......... Commercialism gone mad.......................the reality. A lovely, thoughtful poem, Lyn. I think, in general, we have forgotten what the true concept of Xmas is.
