Indeed, a lot of preachers have since substituted God's message for what the people want to hear, prosperity has overshadowed salvation in the messages of 'men of God'. My priest always says: WELL, I admit you to communion but with fear of God. That was the first thing he said that astonished me. Your poem reminded me of that.
