The depth of devotion and love of Meerabai towards Lord Krishna
A heartfeltl, devotional piece written with spiritual insight....
My heart's music, you help me In my world-crossing. You protected the king of the elephants. You dissolve the fear of the terrified. love of God portrayed so well. tony
Her sentiments towards God is real. If you don't like it, fine. But it really shows your lack of knowledge. You're just another typical fool that can never appreciate the wisdom of a saint.
A devotional request to the lord by the staunchest and devout devotee urging to come for resque. Great poem.
Oh boy, this is rather lame, though I'm tempted to go an check other poems by this poetess, with the hunch that there's others that are much better in spite of this selection. I suppose that's the idea of featuring her work here, though if someone can recommend any in particular, that will save me some valuable time.
If you have come here with the intent to read poems with flowery language written by godless people, then you have come to the wrong place. You might never understand the deep meaning and wisdom behind her words and that is what is truly lame and sad.
You don't even know WHAT IS OUR MEERA BAI IS SINGING and for WHOM (FOR OUR BELOVED KRISHNA) SUPREME PERSONALITY OT GODHEAD
Where can I go? Save my honour For I have dedicated myself to you And now there is no one else for me. Mirabai, a great saint poetess whose love for her beloved Krishna is unparalleled, Her poems are full of Bhakti filled with nectar of love. I bow down before this Poetess of selfless love for her God.
Mirabai's reach towards the Self and Krishna's smile met at the core of this suave poem. Jai Mirabai, Aum! Spirit never leaves us.
A helpless woman! ! ! Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
Meera was a pious devotee of Shrikrisna and her love towards Shrikrusna was immense. This love has been reflected in this poem. It is in Meera's tone... Where can I go? Save my honour For I have dedicated myself to you And now there is no one else for me. Beautifully crafted. Thanks and congratulatios to her soul for being selected as the poem of the day.
A great song of the dedicated heart. Beautiful poem.
A beautiful poem that reflects acceptance of ones fate of ones dire state. There is humility.
