Women deserve to be respected for the simple reason that she is mother to the whole of humanity. She plays many roles in the family and the society. Women are no longer considered unfit or weak and they have left their stamp in every field, be it space travel, mountaineering, military or other defence services. From housewives to CEOs, they function effectively within the home and outside. This dedication to women on Women's International day is a plea to respect women.
