Diwali is a festival of love and light,
Its aim is to live in peace, not in fight.
It is celebrated to recall memory of Lord Ram,
People with sacred body offer God psalm.
Diyas hold a special significance of Diwali ever,
It symbolises removing darkness and victory over.
People of India do Lakshmi Pujan on the day of Diwali,
They keep thirteen diyas in different places gradually.
Diwali is celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervour,
People decorate houses with incandescence and shimmer.
They wear new clothes, exchange sweets and burst crackers,
Different types of fireworks are bought made by firecrackers.
We have to ensure that animals and pets aren't shivering in fear,
The high decibel of firecrackers mustn't be used, no and never.
This festival illuminates the Earth, Skies and brings immense joy,
It promotes peace, harmony and brotherhood that we have to enjoy.
Diwali the festival of light has deep spiritual meaning,
Vices like greed, violence, lust and wrath are in cleaning.
It essentially does mean the awareness of inner light,
And it has power to outshine darkness and to clear obstacles tight.
