I can fathom the warmth of a grand father for his grand child in these lovely lines! I am sure Anayah also must be very fond of you. Since she has migrated to a foreign land with her parents, you are not able to hear her sweet 'twitter" ! The time difference between two countries makes it difficult to have a lively chat! Most children are more attached to their grand parents at a small age! She must be missing your lullabies!

Wow sir, what a sentimental lovely loving poem and imaginative how u call her a bird who sleeps at different times due to difference in time zones. You are a great poet indeed. Kudos. Pleez do review /comment my latest poem too, titled, a song for lunar lovers

Dear S.zaynab Kamoonpuri, Thanks for the first comment on this poem of mine, which I wrote thinking of my little grand daughter whom I love so much! When she lived with me, I used to sing lullabies for her without which she wouldn't go to sleep. I miss her profoundly. I've read your poem 'A Song For Lunar Lovers' and liked it so much that I've left two comments, besides rating it highly. Wishing you the very best of everything. Stay well and write on!
