A 'jade' was once a worthless horse
Perhaps a mare or even worse,
A stallion gelded to ensure
That no offspring would issue.
But now a jade can be
Perhaps a human such as she or he
That by a quick play of the cards
Will act in ways, otherwards.
But to 'ensorsorcel' one, I suppose
Is to never disclose
The true meaning of the term
Which might cause others to squirm.
So we remain as before,
Wondering what happened behind that closed door.
Alas, alack, and woe is me,
Was it you that did deceive?
