Distortion Poem by uder pressure

Distortion

She’ll look in the mirror
at a dissatisfied distortion.
Never knowing the real person
under the mask she keeps hiding.
Unable to breathe
the inhale suffocates her.
And she’ll continue
To listen to the lies
Of the world.
Lost and out of control
She looks for comfort
In all the wrong.
Throwing herself at anyone
And everyone in hopes
Just to feel something.
Could you imagine
What she could have been?
Because she couldn’t.
