i like the poem, but can't say i understand it. i looked up (and read) Rock Music, and Les Murray (born 1938) . first line of Rock Music: is a. The students all knew [From book: Subhuman redneck poems] i don't understand Rock Music [the poem] either! i must need to live in Australia! So many poets largely over rated and yet read by so few. We so oft' keep within our little holes and if only on occasion outside creep, we soon scurry back with no memory of the sky or horizon or wisdom from the journey.
