Disgrace Poem by Leanna Page Markgraf

Disgrace

Why are you here?
I thought you were gone.
I just picked up the pieces of my heart
that you walked on.
My feelings have changed
you are too late.
Instead of loving you,
all I feel is hate.
I am not going to be
another revolving door.
You just waiting around
until you find something more.
Our story has ended
no other chapter to be wrote.
You will no longer poison me
if I have the antidote.
I'd rather be alone than with you
in this god forsaken place.
So turn around and leave,
hang your head in disgrace.
