Disease Poem by Deluke Muwanigwa

Disease

Rating: 5.0

A disease

If i said i love you
Would you say you love me too
And forget everything else
Follow me to the end of the earth
Restart everything
Even that you are a human being
Love needs commitment
Love needs persistence

If i said i love you
Would you say you love me too
And help me build a home in prose
And write poetry while you pose
All over your body
becoming rhythmically embodied
Love needs harmony
A perfect symphony

I really wanna know
Even if the answer is no

Yeah, if i said i love you
Would you say you love me too
And love me even when i m invisible
Believing our love invincible
Ignoring all your senses
Having faith in consequeces
Love needs faith
Not even a face

If i said to you?
Would you say to me too?
That love me
You want me
You need me
You read me
Love is a disease
That's all there is

This is very emotional poem. Very beautifully crafted and very eminently requested. An onboard monologue.
