Disarmed Poem by Natalie Nicole Story

Disarmed

How did you do that?
How did you disarm me?
Locked and Loaded
ready to shoot
now I'm smooth...subdued

I felt this break
a crack in my chest
armor, shield (chakra)
a light breaks through
reds, pinks, yellows a new
with peace pouring, too

Why did you do this?
Are your motives amiss
Who sent you to me
Are you a temptation, a test, a trial
a part of my wandering in my wilderness
or were you molded, shaped, & handled
earthenware just for my lips...my hips...my wishes
