A beautiful reversal in the last one. I wrote one some time back Full moon or no moon Sheraton shines; slums below Always in darkness
fabulous senryu! displays your mastery in this format of poetry! the last one reminded me of the wonderful cup of 'cutting tea' - can be patented by mumbai!
the last one is really warm...........I have had it so many times in AAMCHI MUMBAI.... the poem is reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllly scrumptious....affordable in parts (For a poor fellow like me)
but if that tea is had with someone you love then its priceless! ! ! ! hai naa! ! ! -10 anjali
Thanks for the glimpse into the social avenues of another world. Always enjoyable; seeing through another's eyes, even if only briefly.
A wonderful triplet of Senryu Sandra. It gives me an inkling of how refreshments are enjoyed in your country. I will have the second one, but only if McDonalds has a healthier section like we have in Australia now! 10 love Karin
This is a most expressive senryu triplet, Sandra, and each senryu is written perfectly and very well. It is always a pleasure to see such propertly written senryu and haiku poems from your pen. You have a wonderful give for poetic expression and it shows in your fine poems. Carl.
lovely..a rare subject..all three eating places are good i feel
Nice observation, but the last item could also be an unique experience, esp. when people are in love. Priceless......have to agree to what Mr. James says...
A bridge between have and have nots- wider than seven oceans...............a good write.........
