What do I truly want to eat?
Maybe poultry, pork, or even meat.
Spicy vegan dishes are what I crave,
Sultry ginger flavors, a taste I can't save.
I could eat with a knife, fork, and spoon,
Savoring each flavor, not wanting to finish too soon.
Brown sauce with rice and a hearty stew,
Deliciously cherished, enjoyed by only a few.
Give me Jamaican, Indian, or spicy Thai.
Exotic meals, I'll gladly give them a try.
With a mouthful of yearning, I have much to bear;
My appetite's unquenched, I promise, I swear.
Juicy flavors make me lick my fingertips;
Paradise lingers sweetly on my lips.
An indulgent experience sealed with a kiss,
Chewy, soft mocha caramel bliss.
Hunger inspires this theme to return,
Eating madness that primarily occurs at night.
I cherish the dishes I've tried;
I've honed good table manners with pride.
Stirring the pot, never missing a drop,
Tasty morsels devoured nonstop.
I will eat to my heart's content;
I shall enjoy my meal to the fullest extent.
Come to me now, for you're all mine,
As the music plays, I wine and dine.
Great provisions are spread across my table,
Turn the lights low and unplug the cable.
Food is my focus; don't get the wrong idea.
Take it as you wish, if so inclined,
If you think it's naughty, you might be misconstrued.
But this poem is truly just about enjoying my food.
