A poem of great depth. We are always confronted with this dilemma. To some, a taste of life is worth fighting even if it is just an illusion.. Wonderful epigram woven by a brilliant mind. To my Poem List.

That's a real hard one! Poets live from illusions That they would want To see as real, If you take away illusions The poet dies, I think that's clear. (Strictly personal opinion, does not mean I'm right) I enjoyed the poem very much. Good questions with a deep philosophical background included. Volumes could be written on it. Very, very, well done! Will keep us thinking....
