14 May 2015 TO: Mr. Hasmukh Mehta One of my cousin-in-law was in India Army in Major rank (since deceased) . He was in the Kashmir front when the Indian Army pushed back the marauders and were poised to push them back further beyond the border of Kashmir. At that moment came order of ceasefire from our then Prime Minister Nehru who, with his supreme wisdom, contemplated that was the best course for peace! At that time, the Indian soldiers literally wept in their trenches as I heard from my said cousin-in-law. Your poem reminded me this anecdote. Rajat Das Gupta Rajat Das Gupta, Kolkata May 14,2015
