This is so limpid, luminous, and it casts a light much brighter than its four lines would seem capable of. The bird's sigh is such a tender image, and the complicated image of YESTERDAY'S SHADOW BEFORE SUNRISE is a fleeting moment of beauty captured in words so we can appreciate it fully. And the first line is breathtaking - it shows such openness to experience on your part, such willingness to trust strangers and mirror their goodness back to them. This poem makes a difference to me - the world can be alien and scary, it can be alienating. But the presence of this poem in the world is redemptive. How can four lines be so moving? But they are. You see what I mean that your poem's light extends so far! !
You always give me wonderful encouragements, they're nourishment to my heart. I am home with family now, people in this small village are those sweet passers-by in my life, although what they talk and think cannot provide me a sense of belonging, which the birds the sky can, but they have life, true and beautiful, like the undescribale beauty before sunrise.
Today might be yesterday's shadow before sunrise This is the most wonderful line of poetry I have read in the last month. The waters of your mind spring from deep, beautiful grottoes. Bravo! NB :)
