Dice Poem by J Sheba Anandhi

Dice

Should you be wise
When you roll the dice!
Dice, when you roll this
You never know what comes following
Unless you know the artistry of rolling,
Luck, a small word
But a big thing
Betting on a small thing,
You get your bid
When you know the trick,
And on your side is the luck,
Playing the odds
Expecting to win the cards,
Win, lose or draw
Reckoning on the probability,
Like Pandora
Open the box with curiosity,
Roll when it is your chance,
Watch when the opponent would pounce,
Let there be no regrets
For the chances you did not take,
Hold the winning secrets
For each and every move you make,
Never forfeit what you want the most
For what you want at the moment,
Even if it is the game of dice,
Play it wise and end it nice.
