In the form of Goddess Lakshmy by those who suffer from poverty, as she is Goddess of wealth. Goddess Durga is the Goddess of Power, health and beauty. Amazing poem. This, along with the Poet's Notes, brings to fore the nine forms of Goddess Durga which are worshipped by devotees during Shardiya Navaratri Festivals to seek Her blessings and benevolence. Thanks, Geeta ji, for sharing this devotional poem on this auspicious festive occasion.
Wealth of wisdom lies buried in our ancient texts. Most people have time nor aptitude for it, such translations go a long way to put them before larger audience/readership. Great work.
Fabulous.
