The Torah commands the Jews
to destroy their chametz,
leavened products
before the onset of Passover.
Jewish law dictates that
they conduct a search
for any chametz in their homes,
to make sure that none
remains in their possession
during thePassover.
In a spiritual sense,
chametz represents
haughtiness and misplaced
pride and self importance.
In preparation of our redemption
(on Passover)we are meant
to destroy the chametz within us.
It is then that true redemption,
from God can be achieved.
(I only read it in books.I hope, what I present is true. If I am wrong please tell me.I shall correct it.
