....Once.......the winds
Of passion flowed
...Amongst the leaves
On vineyard's row
Touching the vines
With such desire
Fueling the flames
....Of a raging fire

Destiny's wisdom
....Then...rearranged
Those winds of passion
...To winds...of change
A frigid chill
Displaced the old
With angry gusts
....Of bitter cold
What a beautifull write that brings so much picture to the vineyard from its early sweet grapes to the harvest of the wine... It captures the reader to feel the blustery fall wind blowing but with distant sun and wipping wind blowing upon the now gray vineyard.... Very good write and filled with so much imagery! ! Bonnie
truly inspiring, definitely changes the mindset transmuting the negative to positive
beautifully expressed James; blowing hot and cold, vivid, poignant images simply hit me in the gut.
Hi James, Wonderful expression. I am envious of your style - I loved your biography too. Thank you.
Very, very impressive! While each stanza has its merit, my favorite is the third.
Should be 'Early's Wisdom', surely a man who has lived many seasons
