Destined To Be Plagued By Past Mistakes Poem by Kellyn, A Grau

Destined To Be Plagued By Past Mistakes

Rating: 3.0

Drowning in the heavens of a past that was so black
Dyeing to discover something that could bring me back
To the time when I knew what was right from wrong
And I held a better judgment
To let instinct take over my mind
And lead me in the right direction
So look to the tabooed emotions
That locks away who you truly are
Dig up at the adjured comprehension
That you let fall to the floor
So hold no lament towards me
My fate was handed to me by my self
But alas I try another time but you spurn me
Copious with the lust of love you spit at me
So scrutinize my very heart and take the time to see
How devastated it’s become and torn up constantly
Denied by fate to touch the hand that love once held
Exiled by the only thing I knew how to express
So I walk alone in search of something
To help bring forth my soul
And let the mirror show the way
To the path that needs to be unfolded
So here I go, one more time
I’ll walk this path with no regard for life
Detached from my morals and left degraded
I shall fall before the gods, perhaps they will enlighten me
On what’s up ahead, shall I take the road or perish
Which ever way I’ll die
By the blood that always follows me
And constantly reminds me of the past
