Desire Poem by Hafiz Muhammad Qasim

Desire

This world is full of desires
The desire to be filthy rich
The desire to have a luxury castle
Especially in a posh area
The desire to have a luxury car
Desire to have life without wars
Desire to have peace near and far
Never mind to have these aspirations
They create optimism instead of suspicion
Water remains water
Wire remain wire
Which connects
And generates electricity
Like a windmill it creates
A will to have something
Truly substantial and hardwire
