Deserted & Devastated Animal World Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Deserted & Devastated Animal World

I do not see monkeys
In the forest,
I do not hanumans,
Not even jackals
Straying near the waste heaps,
Wild cats,
There is a decrease in its population,
Black bears too
Taken to the zoos,
Porcupines almost killed
And the cheetahs depleted, gone extinct,
The deer too is in the park.
