Hi Suzanne, Wonderful poem. Desert, desert horse, parched throat... Great concoction of imagery creating an atmosphere of upheaval. Loved this line : : Because before my eyes the sands have turned to sea.: : But I could not decipher, who you are addressing through the poem: : : Shall I compare you to a desert horse? : : Some hint would have been helpful.
