Derogatory!
In order to deceive;
But closely watched by the naked eyes,
For this generation gap had caught up with us.

And, it was used to replace the letter 'Y' of many names of people and places,
Which was done in the Holy Scriptures by Constantine the Pope!
And today, we are being deceived because of the many changes.
