Depth Of Soul Poem by The voice of silence .

Depth Of Soul

Deep within the soul, where silence dwells,
Where time freezes like eternal wells,
Lies a pain, sharp as a knife,
Silent it stays, yet tears the heart of life.

Love came as light in the night's quiet air,
Yet turned out to be a soul's fleeting snare.
You were my everything — both sky and ground,
But to you, I was lost, never found.

Your eyes — like the depths of an ocean wide,
To drown in them is simple, with nothing to hide.
I fell into them, but you did not reach,
And I remained in endless grief's breach.

We were like two worlds that could not combine,
Like two stars forbidden to shine.
You moved forward, while I stayed in the shade,
Dreaming of love that never was made.

Yet in this pain, a faint light remains,
Teaching us to value other dawns' gains.
Unrequited love is a lesson, not a chain,
Guiding the heart, though not to remain.

Though now my soul burns in flame,
I know it will pass like a dream's soft claim.
Pain is a storm that bends us low,
But after the tempest, the sky will glow.

So let go of what was never ours,
For the world holds new windows and stars.
Love will come, though in a different hue,
And I will know — I was not alone, but true.
