Depression slides into recession
Where one is…
A searching for how things used to be
Where pleasure out weighed pain
Good triumphed over Evil
And bad never won.
Depression is a reaching its breaking point…
When and where others take more
Than the giver can give anymore.
Depression is a reaching its breaking point…
When and where others lack appreciation
Of the giver going long past a multitude of the extra mile.
Depression has reached its breaking point…
When and where the giver is a shooting higher
Higher than the takers could ever hope to see
So the giver is only perceived as a living in a dream
When in fact…
The giver can see every step in getting there
But depression says, "Why try anymore…"
Depression slides into regression
When one feels their efforts are appreciated no more…
