Depression Comments

Donna: found your site today, and impressed with your posts. I became interested in poetry just 3 years ago, and believe it or not it was because of anxiety and depression losing my childhood sweetheart being married 55 years, I was advised by consule to write my thoughts and just keep a journal I started to record my thoughts and they started to rhyme and that was my start, I have written more than 100 Haiku's and hundreds of poems, I started writting of pain, than self pity, than I started to see the forest, the birds and the bee's and compassion for the downtrodden, my outlook on life is so beautiful thank God, I found poetry, now on poemhunter I find a whole world at my fingertips.
