The sand as white as old bones. the pine trees strangely red where the sun comes down. Wonderful expressions.

This is a beautiful poem which seems to be more inspired by the mood of Akhmatova than by her actual words. It is not a literal or accurate translation of AA's late poem. I am reminded of some of Ezra Pound's inaccurate but moving translations from the Chinese.
