buzzed within his head
Their confused drone, into a ruffled rumble grew,
lengthening into frenzied drum beats,

I have witnessed some of them on the streets. The two last paragraphs resonate with me. Great presentation and wonderfully versified. Five Stars! ! !

A well expressed and beautifully crafted poem depicting a person afflicted with a disease that affects the mind. It expresses and shows vividly a pattern... strange behavior and utterances of a person suffering from such sickness.

The second stanza lines give the theme of the poem, I believe. As Simone Harriman down the line observed, the poem is about the unfortunate suffering of the person affected by the disease. New Testament I have read. The way you have crafted this poem is to be really appreciated. Good diction, good poetic sense 10+

The transition was quite easy He scurried from Elijah to John the Baptist And from John the Baptist to Elijah Oscillating between Sense and non-sense....... Intensive ending with nice theme. A beautiful poem expressed brilliantly.

The tormented suffering of a person with schizophrenia comes to mind reading your poem Valsa. Yet I can also picture a sudden outer realm possession of this poor soul used to deliver a sinister prophesy of doom.

And I thought Valsa was a devout Christian! Maybe she is, but this makes me wonder how many religious 'leaders', prophets, etc. have simply been verbose and charismatic delusionals. Of course my agnosticism makes it very easy to think like this. Very well-composed. I would probably be considered part of the riff-raff! ! Bri :)

As I do not have complete knowledge of Christianity, I could not understand this poem up to the extent to write a comment.. However I understand that if one swings between two beliefs he is a victim of delusions. Before making a belief one should think twice and go through its verbosity, otherwise one will behave like a mad man.

A lovely imagery where it seems that during writing this poem, on the back of mind - poet was concerned about the current abusive happenings around the world and neighborhood too.
