The day we were here
So much to cherish-
A treasure to
Our beloved parents-
A tiny baby
So cute and beautiful
Crystal clear eyes
Ever black in white
Nothing hidden inside
So much open
No commitments
Toddling speech
So much to cherish
Pleasant voice
Dipped in honey
Smiling expressions
Spontaneous laughter
Just similar to
Drops of dew
Dripping down
Toddling walk
Ever a treat
Slipping here and there
Though Sleep at days
And Sleepless at nights
Every activity
A moment to cherish
And relish all the time
Crying too at times
A sense of enjoyment
Summary all over-
Whatever we do
All loads of merriment-
So fittingly said
By many a people-
Seeing God in every child
Delightful days altogether
A child within us
No matter our age
Where we are now..
Wishing you to conclude
Happy children's day
