Delicately Poem by M McParland

Delicately

I delicately caress your cheek,
as I gaze into your eyes
letting you see my entire soul.
Something I'd never share with
another being.

Delicately I take your hand.
Place it on my chest for you
to feel my beating heart.
So you'll feel each beat
and know it's yours.
To feel all the love which it pours.

Then I will lean in for a kiss.
Delicately pressing to your lips,
savoring the sweetness between our
bodies and souls which our true
love will never slip.

I dream of this time
for it will happen.
It keeps me going gives me will
to push on through the days
and keep on fighting.
I will always treat you delicately
in all the ways you need.
Your my sweet lady
and I wish to honor you in
every thought and every deed.

I love you so,
each day our love does grow.
I miss you in these days alone.

I will make it all up to you,
because I delicately hold your memory
and cherish it.
You are my sweet Angel dove it is true.
