Nice one. I prefer not to swallow my own tears? Anyways good.
I found myself enjoying wormwood’s bitterness Thinking that it is the sweetest life can give me. For too long I partook the bread of dire falseness Knowing falsely that I ate life’s delicacy. Sounds like a medieval setting or Gothic. Would have been interesting if you had expanded on the first stanza with another stanza to expand those ideas. 10
What a honest poem! This poem really draws me the passion of life's delicacy, nice job...
we have to thank God for every thing.that's a wonderful poem Obed! thanks for sharing
Gr8 poem. Yes, self-introspection is important. They are certain things which we think make us happy, but deep down even we know that we need something else. I sense extreme sorrow in these lines.10+

A poem of great wisdom to understand the bitterness and sweetness of life written narrated at your age is moving.'The gladness i now feel I shall keep forever' Store it away just in case you have to or, falsely given life's bitterness again. I'[m certain, gladness is obliged to take over.
