Your visual perception, shades and colours are translated into words that express what cannot be articulated. Poetry aims at going beyond words using words. The reader as a silent lover who can understand and heal his own wounds. The miracle of art. Merry Christmas, Sandra.

Captured well within the warmth of your splendid words are the ebb and tide of dwelling anew to a freshness of another day. Your work is splendid indeed.

I feel it is always a gift to read Sandra Fowler. Her work seems to call me to that which is the best between men and women. Sharon Olds may be more visceral but I don't think we have anyone who is more transcendent in this area than Sandra. Bill Grace

I need not say that the poem is replete with suggestive imagery - expressivity is the mark of Sandra's poetry. These Beautiful lines take me beyond melancholy, into timeless mirth.

It is such a joy to gaze through the 'lens of' your 'imagery' Sandra. You have a special gift of combining the gentlest of melancholy with the beauty of nature's brush. 'One need not speak to be articulate./ I hear what you could never say aloud.' expresses a personal and universal truth with great clarity and eloquence. Thank you. love, Alison ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
