Definition Of Poetry Comments

This is such a calm, rational, dispassionate definition I almost think you mean it as IRONY - the poems that follow do not follow the contours of these words but rather break any mold that would declare limits. They are as unstable as the definition is stable. I found your name and comment on today's poem DUSK by the early 20th century Austrian poet Georg Trakl, you wrote you were impressed with Trakl's poem, and I wanted to read a poem or two by someone with that reaction to Trakl - one of my essential poets!
