This is a Poem of Passion. The loss makes you seek out actions that will distract you from the hurt. And the poem seems to discover a point at which you want to BE DISTRACTED FROM DISTRACTION BY DISTRACTION.. It might provide some comfort to be aware of the healing that comes true at the end of a process of grieving.
