Defeated No More Poem by MTHANDAZO SAMAL MKHWANANZI

Defeated No More

I feel defeated, lost, and worn,
My strength exhausted, my heart forlorn.
I wander in the shadows, where losers reside,
My faith shattered, my hope, where did it hide?

Failure's dark chains bind me tight,
A prisoner of despair, without a fight.
What can I do? This world can be cold,
But I refuse to let defeat take its toll.

I feel defeated, I've had enough,
My willpower waning, my spirit rough.
The saying goes, 'What doesn't kill me makes me strong, '
But I'm tired of the struggle, tired of being wrong.

But then I realize, I have a choice,
To rise up, to fight, to rejoice.
When you feel defeated, don't give up the quest,
Keep fighting, and you'll find your inner strength, you'll pass the test.

I felt defeated, but now I'm free,
Thanks to the advice, that's made me fierce and carefree.
I've broken the chains, and risen above,
My haters are furious, but I'm filled with love.
