The traits of a hunter are all over me,
Much like my ancestors.
They, renowned for hunting,
More often than not, a deer;
Here i am after them,
The same predator instinct
Thought them,
The deer on four legs to hunt;
And i,
My dear on two legs.
The same gait with which
They after a deer went,
I chase my dear.
And my dear,
An apt emblem of a deer,
Blessed with a swift foot;
I pursue, but never catch up
When, like the arch-hunters,
I stealth around
She, like a doe
Fortified with the faculty
Of erecting her ears,
Lifting them into the air
Even the beat in my heart is unraveled.
when without aiming i shoot,
Precision is sure to elude me;
One shot could not take this deer,
Now i have lost count.
The patience of a true hunter
All ammo i must bring
The persistence that never say die
Still i approach,
In winter cold,
In spring rain,
In summer heat,
Dawn and dusk both;
When scarcely breakfasted,
And upon my lunch.
Dark-tailed deer they hunted
But i, pursued after a coco-tailed deer
Those, preferred coniferous forest
And their valued farmlands
Where they spend night and day
Browsing and playing on the farmer's toil;
And mine, loving the serenity of uptown,
Forage on her interest,
And play on my heart strings.
The best way to attract a deer?
Protect and maintain their habitat.
This, my patriarch didn't know;
Provide a hiding cover_ they love hiding,
This, my fore-fathers didn't do;
The deer pants for water,
This, my ancestors witheld;
But, my dear pants for love,
And i offered her same.
In much contrast,
I love and care for my dear's interest.
To become the ultimate deer hunter
This they yearn after.
When the chased deer is fatigued,
They aim and shoot with a hit,
With bow and arrow the deer is felled,
On their shoulders hung their trophies;
But i, aim and shoot, this time without a miss,
With my masculine avowal and sweetened words
To my honor she has fallen,
On my breast rest my doe-deer
And now i am the ultimate deer hunter.
