Deep Thoughts On A Bookcase Poem by Robert Eckstein

Deep Thoughts On A Bookcase

Cool green unblinking eyes
Gaze at a far horizon only she can see.
With paws tucked in,
Tail curled close to her side,
You think the cat is totally inert.
But no. She really is deep in thought.
See: the last inch of her sleek, tapered tail
Just gave a little twitch.
