DEEP NIGHT is clearly a metaphor for that realm far beyond literal night, in which we feel the presence of peace, calm and beauty. By peace I mean the absence of fighting or any kind of violence. By calm I mean the heart is still and no longer agitated by outside factors. And this condition gives a clear view of Beauty. That's the reward for one who puts his faith in the Dream - the vision of Beauty. I think I'm reading your poem accurately. If I'm way off, let me know.
