Deep Loneliness Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Deep Loneliness

Rating: 5.0

I long to see you,
If only to hear your voice.
A smile so warm and tender,
Even brighter than a shining star.
I long to see you,
But your presence is way too far.
Memories guide me,
to a place we loved to share.
With you beside me,
Those days beyond compare.
I touch your picture,
If only i could reach,
Into your arms now,
those days upon the beach.
How fast the years fly,
They've gone before my eyes.
You are my star now,
Since we said our last goodbye.

A beautiful and very touching poem. Our departed loved ones always create a void in our life. Their great memories keep our spirit alive.
