Very touching and emotional poem on a very difficult subject. You did a great job of expressing your feelings and thoughts about your love for this girl. Apparently the effects of being raped left lasting scars or wounds that were not healed and had caused mistrust of men to blossom. Excellent poem Souren! Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn

I have been travelling along with you sharing your heart aches and frustration over the unrequited love! You were too sincere and simple at heart and your love sprang first from a sense of sympathy, seeing another's tears! As you later found out, they were 'melodramatic over expressions'! What the girl with the spectacles needed was just somebody who gave a patient hearing to all she had to say in her moment of crises and nothing more! But you believed her, trusted her and expected the same depth and intensity of affection and love you gave her. Being highly sensitive, you still carry the pain of rejection in your heart! I feel that you should some how bury all those memories, never allowing them to resurrect anymore! This I wouldn't call a poem, but a slice of your life etched in life blood!
