Deception Poem by Felix Otiende

Deception

Delilah
As my eyes deceived me?
When I met you, my appetite was so high
I thought you were the one for me
It was all lust and deception

Does body defines a good wife?
Does education matters in a relationship?
If they do, then let me die single
Your are a green snake on a green grass

If you can turn my house into a toilet
Then you don't deserve to live among men
A super woman builds her home
Yet you destroyed mine

Yes I was confused on Potiphar's street and fell on your trap
Am a lost chicken amongst eagles
Am ready to sacrifice my life
But not be with you.

You are so blind even to see in light.
