Those who cheated checks 'n balances
Those who damn near welcome it
A kiss with jawbones and sword
Determining who gets an extra hour
While it takes a twenty minute break
Long after fifty anemic children withered
Taunting those who didn't recover
From the sexual spectrum of intimacy
As people join forces with inner demons
Creeping up like lost faculties slipped away
Deleting those who suddenly feel
Taller than trees and garden gnomes
Laughing at so called anti aging solutions
Innocent people not making the drive home
And a jenkologist clarifies further
Careful with your dark humor slipping out
Even walking over an ant colony is murder
It knows about ethnic identity erasure
Along with men who targeted women
With many dipping toes in pools of evil
Always near as we fall asleep
Life hurts those who lost what they love
Whether or not it looked like a grave
At a time one isn't ready to say goodbye
What is there to fight? Who is there to save?
Who fears the unknown of it?
Who's name is spoken for the final time?
Why tempt fate already knowing beauty?
It works as somebody feels uneasy
And none of us really know what's next.
