accepting one's fate in such a situation is the only way to be free. there is no mystery in death only in life and that is the prison in which we live. nice write

Lovely, striking, emotional. This makes me think of what it would be like to be on death row. Great brain food.

I heard Bob Dylan singing 'Knocking on Heaven's Door, ' in my mind, while reading this. It forms questions, and that's what I like... Food for thought.

no one can take away a man's true freedom... we are imprisoned by our bodies... much as they often imprison our bodies wrongfully... you cover this subject with a thoroughness, and with insight. very good poem. thank you!

Dear Dave, the meaning s of your words are really so great also it can has a lot of symbolics meanings. The room of death can be the world where we live.Yes really somethimes we feel that we can't easlyy breath, we are imprisoned. We all looking after a peaceful place where we can be free happy.Well done dear Dave. By the way the only thing that i hope you don't mentioned it is suicide, this feeling never gives any pleasure it always be with a great doom and gloom.

The reason why i keep reading your works is because you have all senses that i like, this one for example feel close to me, the way you deliver it, it's enchanting...It scoring a dark background, chill on nerves but the meaning so utterly spoken..Dave, this is good work and i enjoyed the flow very much, thanks to Eric for his Inspiration too....by the way dont you feel something following you back when you leave the room...ghost maybe hahahahaha i 'm joking: p _Keep writing more episode of your thought :) _Unwritten Soul
