A heart touching verses.. a thoughts we always in our minds with Jesus Christ sacrifice....excellent write.....10
The opening lines clearly told me about the theme. Well versed verses. My view about Christ's crucification is this: - He was very spiritualistic and very well knew about the mortality of body. He accepted his share with grace and without any murmur. He was aware of the fact that nothing could touch his everlasting soul. He was careless as what might or might not affect the body. We can see that all great spiritual seekers hold the same view about body and soul. After his death he actually showed the world through his resurrection that body was mortal whereas soul was eternal. The world has not practically understood this fact. If he had the capacity to resurrect, he certainly had the capacity to escape from being crucified but he did not do so from another point of view also. If he had escaped from crucification, there was every chance of the world asking a particular question at a later stage: - 'If he could profess that body was after all mortal and soul immortal, why he did not accept the way of the cross? '. Atleast one man would ask the question. By accepting the crucification, he had answered the question all by his life. His life was his message. That is his greatness. Another thing. For a great soul like Christ, there was no happiness or unhappiness in life from his level of perception. There was only acceptance of life that meant only the acceptance of all situations with equanimity. Our problem is that we do not wish to accept many situations. We offer mental resistance to many situations and what is the result? We should know to accept every worse situation. Then only we would actually know how to remain mentally calm and get over the situation. Pain doesn't lie in any material situation but it is pure mental. Pain is generated from our mentally rejecting a situation. I am giving this point for anybody's reflection.
Death on a tree is a profound account of the the death of Jesus. Good write.
A beautiful and moving take on the passion of Christ during his last hours, when he was crucified on the cross, he became the sacrificial lamb to save us from sin.
