Death Of The Author Comments

I find it amazing how many different interpretations of a poem can exist and exist quite rationally and logically though they are radical opposites. When it happens to my poems, I feel horrid- I must be the worst writer in the world. I am not communicating what I want to communicate. Then I read other people's poems and the comments on them shows that I often have veered in a different direction. Hmmmmm.... maybe the solution is to not discuss the meaning. Anyway- -I really think you have chosen the best title for this piece. ;)

a beautiful poem with a sharp observation.....it is true, sometimes the poet or writter does not know the worth of his or her creation.....Sometimes, reader's response is responsible to calculate the worth of a writter.....
