When the mortal veil is lifted,
and the soul ascends on high,
To the gates of Heaven, swiftly,
where in eternal life no man may die.
In the realm of endless glory,
bathed in light divine and pure,
Where the saints recount the story,
of salvation, ever sure.
From the Book of Life, they read,
names inscribed by grace alone,
Through the Lamb, who did intercede,
and redeemed, now calls His own.
In the gardens bright and fair,
where the River of Life does flow,
Peace and joy beyond compare,
in the Heavenly Kingdom glow.
Hallelujahs fill the air,
songs of praise forever sung,
By the righteous gathered there,
a chorus of the saved of ev'ry tribe and tounge!
No more sorrow, pain, nor fear,
only love and blissful days,
With our Savior ever near,
we shall dwell in endless praise.
Amen.
