DEATH NEVER GETS AN EASIER
Death never gets any easier
It has its finality
And grief comes to visit once again
To the depth of our soul's degree
And devastated though we are
God's grace comes with ministering power
Praise God for our Resurrection and our Life
Our greatest solace in this hour
The Lord our Shepherd comforts such
With His physician healing balm
To bring us peace during the departure of
Our dearest and loving one
As grace permeates our innermost being
And we catch the life in our breath
So thankful to Christ for our living hope
Praise God there's life after death!
Death never gets any easier
But one day it shall be no more
When our Resurrected bodies head for Heaven
Greetings to those who've gone on before
And then that glad reunion day
When our meeting place shall be bliss
And welcomed into the arms of loved ones
Through the blessing of Christ's sacrifice!
Hallelujah, what a Saviour!

Death never gets an easier, but for true believers, death is a passage to eternity.
